Re-Tx Yourself
Retreat Cancellation, Payment, and Refund Policy

Re-Tx Yourself retreats are small-group, immersive experiences that require advance planning, facilitator preparation, lodging coordination, and vendor commitments. This policy is intended to provide clarity and fairness for both participants and Re-Tx Yourself.

Registration and Deposit
A $250 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of registration to reserve a participant’s spot.
The deposit is applied toward the total retreat cost.
Registration is not considered complete until the deposit is received.
Due to limited capacity, the deposit secures a participant’s place and removes that spot from availability.

Payment Requirements
All retreat fees must be paid in full no later than 30 days prior to the retreat start date.
Full payment is required to attend the retreat.
Payment plans may be offered at the discretion of Re-Tx Yourself.
Failure to complete payments by the required deadline may result in cancellation of registration without refund.

Personal checks are not accepted.

Participant-Initiated Cancellations
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email.
The date the written cancellation is received determines refund eligibility.
Refunds are calculated based on the base retreat cost, excluding the non-refundable deposit.

Refund schedule
* 90 or more days before the retreat start date
Refund of payments made minus the $250 non-refundable deposit

* 89 to 60 days before the retreat start date
50 percent refund of the total retreat cost, excluding the deposit

* 59 to 30 days before the retreat start date
25 percent refund of the total retreat cost, excluding the deposit

* 29 days or fewer before the retreat start date
No refunds will be issued

No-Shows, Late Arrivals, and Early Departures
No refunds are issued for failure to attend, late arrival, or early departure.
This applies regardless of personal circumstances, including travel disruptions or health-related reasons.

Transfer of Registration
Participants may request to transfer their registration to another eligible individual by providing written notice at least 30 days prior to the retreat start date.
All transfers are subject to approval to ensure program requirements and safety considerations are met.
The original registrant is responsible for identifying a replacement participant.
The deposit remains non-refundable but may be applied to the transferred registration.

Retreat Cancellation by Re-Tx Yourself
If Re-Tx Yourself cancels a retreat due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, safety concerns, facilitator illness, venue issues, or minimum enrollment not being met, participants will be offered one of the following options:
* A full refund of all payments made, including the deposit
* The option to apply all payments toward a future Re-Tx Yourself retreat

Re-Tx Yourself is not responsible for airfare, travel expenses, independently booked lodging, or other personal costs incurred by participants.

Force Majeure
Re-Tx Yourself is not liable for failure or delay in performance due to events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, public health emergencies, government restrictions, or other acts beyond reasonable control.

Refund Processing
Approved refunds are typically processed within 14 business days of cancellation confirmation and issued using the original method of payment when possible.

Governing Law
This policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maine.

Severability
If any provision of this policy is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Policy Acknowledgment
By registering for a Re-Tx Yourself retreat, participants acknowledge that they have read, understand, and agree to this Cancellation, Payment, and Refund Policy.

I hereby confirm that I have fully disclosed all relevant health conditions, medical history, and any other information that may influence or affect my session.

By providing my electronic signature below, I confirm that:

I consent to participate and acknowledge the following:
The information I have provided is accurate and complete to the best of my knowledge.
I understand that Re-Tx Yourself offers wellness services, which do not replace medical or psychiatric care.
I authorize Re-Tx Yourself staff to administer basic first aid or contact emergency medical services if necessary.
I acknowledge that participation may involve risks, including but not limited to wildlife encounters, weather-related hazards, and other unforeseen circumstances.
I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation and release Re-Tx Yourself, its staff, and representatives from any liability for injury, loss, or damages incurred during or as a result of my participation.
I agree to follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided by Re-Tx Yourself staff.
By acknowledging below, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined in this Consent, Agreement, and Liability Waiver.
